President

Aaron has over 10 years of experience in building successful ecommerce, web development, and fashion businesses in the web 2.0 space. He is skilled in web design, creative direction, product development, sales, project management, and accounting. Aaron has implemented exclusive merchandise licensing deals with international celebrities and large distribution deals with major retailers.

Brands Aaron has collaborated with include Bohemia The Punjabi Rapper, MTV, Zumiez, Burton Snowboards, Slightly Stoopid, Atmosphere, and Trumer Pils. Aaron has been able to use his creativity as well as his passion and love for art and successfully apply it to high-end, practical, consumer products. He holds an MS degree in Marketing from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where he particularly enjoyed collaborating with international students on global business concepts.

Aaron has since become deeply versed in the trends and utility of cryptocurrency, blockchain, and NFTs, and has built an extensive network in the space. He has spearheaded go-to-market campaigns and led product development, social media, influencer marketing, and creative direction efforts for start-up blockchain projects.

David Doss

Chairman

David has 14+ years leading teams of 10+, managing budgets of $5M+, and optimizing $100M+ programs. He's served notable organizations such as Citibank, Gilt, and Saks 5th Avenue, and has worked across tech, media, financial services, real estate, and crypto. David earned his BA degree from UC Berkeley at age 18 – graduating #1 in his department cohort, summa cum laude – and went on to complete an MA as a Fulbright Scholar while researching international social development. Additionally, he holds an MBA with a focus on marketing, strategy, and entrepreneurship.

Drawing on his Fulbright research, David became fascinated with the global impact potential of blockchain and crypto back in 2016, and has been investing in the space since early 2017, building an early 5-figure portfolio into 7-figure returns.

As VP at Citi, David helped develop strategies focused on FinTech innovation across the global bank's B2B and B2C initiatives, and particiatped in social impact work with Nobel Peace Prize winner Muhammad Yunus' organization, Yunus & Youth. He also served as VP at Energi – a security-focused smart contract platform – and Head of Marketing at Jibrel Network – a global, blockchain-native organizations focused on tokenization of alternative assets. David is adept at strategic planning and tactical execution, with core competencies in management, media, and technology & analytics. He focuses on driving value in the constantly evolving world of blockchain and crypto.

Jo Edwards

Creative Director

Jo Edwards is a seasoned creative professional with a wide range of design and growth skills. With a background ranging from small startups all the way to large corporations, her innovative ideas and strategic thinking have led to numerous successful design initiatives, increasing brand awareness and driving sales. Her 6+ years of blockchain experience includes projects with Energi, D-Web (a Helium partner), Enya.ai, and BOBA Network, and she also co-organizes Women in Blockchain events. Additionally, her academic background in architecture gives her a unique perspective on the potentials of the metaverse, which she can apply to create cutting-edge designs that build digital real estate for brands.

Kade Almendinger

Head of Operations

Kade Almendinger is a growth-oriented advisor, consultant, writer, strategist, and crypto investor. Past and current clients include major blockchains, crypto exchanges, crypto media sites, and various blockchain hardware and software companies. He was introduced to bitcoin (BTC) in 2012 through his interest in Austrian economics. Starting initially as a crypto trader and enthusiast, he decided to dive full time into the blockchain and crypto space in 2018. He leveraged his technical research abilities and scientific background, along with his cryptoeconomic knowledge and CEX trading experience, to consult with various crypto and blockchain projects. He started this work in Seoul, where he used his Korean and English skills to collaborate with several Korea-based blockchain start-ups.

He even co-hosted a crypto-oriented podcast from 2019 to 2021. He currently lives outside Providence and enjoys going to major crypto conferences as well as crypto meetups in the greater New England area. Outside of crypto and work, his passions include macroeconomics, weightlifting, running, investing, learning languages, biking, craft beer, and playing music.

Elliott Stapleton

Elliott has 15+ years as a collaborative, solutions-focused business and legal strategist. This rich experience includes working with all levels of a business, from early-stage start-ups to large privately held companies—serving as the principal legal advisor to founders, executives, sales, engineering, marketing, and more.

In these pursuits, Elliott’s experience spans diverse fields, including technology, media, professional services, transportation, and real estate. To cover this wide range of expertise, he has become proficient at code-switching between technical, business, and legal frameworks to deliver data and visual explanations allowing comprehension by all.

With CKC, Elliott supports the leadership team in developing product value messaging, defining the company’s mission, and working with internal and external partners to maintain a legally sound operation.

Carol Moogi

Carol Moogi is an administration professional with over 10 years of experience assisting executive teams in optimizing their workflows. She has a strong track record in overseeing operational and admin functions, as well as customer support, email marketing, and a variety of other administrative tasks.

Having worked with high level executives, she is constantly honing her well-developed planning and organization skills, excellent attention to detail, and wide-ranging expertise in the administration field.
